finally The dreadful first week of school has finally passed. YES. I've been struggling to be on time for my first tutorial each day. Seriously, I think I'm still in holiday mode. I'd use the word 'mode' instead of 'mood'. Because psychologically and emotionally, I want to be on time. But I think my body is still on it's vacation. Grrr... Thank God it'll not come with me to Heaven. Been given my Compprog project once more. This time, I'm going to make sure I pass. Looks easier. HAHA. Get over and done with this module. Hmm... Why don't I strive for another A? I don't mind. HAHAHA. "Holy Spirit I see an A for COMPPROG on my result slip and I proclaim it in the Name of Jesus!" Okay anyway, I'm in church now and it's dark and empty. The whole world is still in school or at work. I thank God that I end school early everyday. Haha. I'm talking to Peck Hoon on Skype and she went to "do that thing you do" so she BRB-ed. So I'm doing some planning for this weekend and next week. This weekend... Sunday... HAHAHA. Exciting. Just for the record. Lester's birthday just passed. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESTER!!! And he's going to miss service for the next 4 weeks! Sad right, see his face like that... (*uhmchio*) We're all really going to miss him. Lester, we believe that through this season, God is going to build you stronger and stronger. We believe after you ORD, you're really going to rise up and soar in your walk with God. You're going to be a great son in His house. Psalm 91! :) Alrighto, that's all for this entry. See ya! live out not carry out My church my responsibility. My zone my responsibility. My CG my responsibility. My family my responsibility. My school my responsibility. My blog my responsibility. (HEHEHE!) I'm speakin' it and I'm gonna live it. Had a great time doing BM today, with special thanks to Ming Han putting me in Miaow Guan's group to clean the toilet. The toilet's fun really (no sarcasm), especially when you get rid of every dirt and smell the fragrance of accomplishment... Or rather, the air freshener. But nothing beats the fun and laughter while cleaning. That's why I love my church... Where else do you find cleaning the toilet fun!? Miaow Guan and I were even agreeing on the reason why our BM duties were on Mondays, which were supposed to be our Sabbath... Because we aren't really working during BM, in fact, we're playing and joking with each other more than we do on weekends after service. I feel more rested than worked out. I remember how pastor once shared that our play is our work, and our work is our play - we must learn to enjoy and find rest in our work! I didn't know our Brother Fabian is on staff! Today he was the supervisor for BM, and he shared a powerful message about holy discontent. Honestly, sometimes we're so caught up with having fun and hanging out, or even the important things we do in church that we miss out the part about having a heart for our home, a heart for others... What would you do if you see a broken glass and spilled water in the middle of the cafe, and no one is doing anything? What would you do if you see someone with their hands filled with things they're carrying and trying to open the gate/glass door? Or trying to walk up the stairs, barely being able to watch their step? What would you do if you see someone playing very violently with our church's console game? What would you do if you see a new friend walking around church with no one to talk to? Even if you are busy? What you would do will determine whether you are a son or a servant. Anyway, headed down to City Plaza's Arnot (Arnold's Fried Chicken) and had a wonderful feast with the E2 peeps. Everyone's excited about having smaller and shorter CGs... It's so something new! I can't wait for it either. They were all in wonder of what is to come, but I was such an evil person to keep them in suspense... HAHAHA. Only sneaky Kenneth and Miaow Guan knew about a tenth of it because they were eavesdropping in the Ops Office! ORH HOR... Haha no lah, they were doing their photos and happen to hear... Well, that's all they'll hear and shall remain as that until that fateful day comes... All I can tell you is that... it's going to be awesome. And you're all gonna love it. :) Saturday, June 21, 2008 @ 1:38 PM
Warrior's Comeback Finally I'm back to blogging. Changed skin too. No, I still love guitars, but maybe that guitar skin is not nice enough to inspire me to blog more often. I wonder if this one will. LOL. I've been reading The Fourth Dimension: Volume One by Pastor Cho and enjoying every testimony I read about how vision and prayer brought faith and success to him and his people. That's what we need. Vision + Prayer = Faith + Success Victorious Christian living is as simple as such an equation. "Visions and dreams are the language of the fourth dimension, and the Holy Spirit communicates through them." What have you been praying for? What has been the cry on your heart for the past few months? These things... Can you see it coming to past? Can you imagine it really happening one day? If you can... Keep praying, because you're not far :) I've been playing this song during my QT because it really ministers to my heart. You are forever in my life You see me through the seasons Cover me with Your hand And lead me in Your righteousness And I look to You And I wait on You And I'll sing to You Lord A hymn of love For Your faithfulness to me And I'm carried in everlasting arms You never let me go Through it all I thank God for my bittersweet past of almost 5 years. I love the guitar plucking intro. Haha. Can't wait for what's to come ;) |
